These bats may occur in groups of 10,000 or more. During the spring, females of L. sanborni in the northern part of their range form maternity colonies
numbering into the thousands (Barbour and Davis 1969). Apparently, adult male L. nivalis also separate from the females in the summer and do not occupy the
northern part of the range of the species. [ eng ] |
