Issues in Digitization: A Report Prepared for the Washington State Library Council January 5, 1999. This report was prepared by members of the Washington State Library at the request of the Washington State Library Council. The information contained in this report is expected to augment the knowledge of the Council regarding issues of conversion of non-digital materials to digital files as defined by the Collaborative Digitization Project. It is expected that many of the facts, assumptions, and understandings presented in this report will be explored and validated or revised during the project. As such, the information in this report represents our base level of knowledge as we begin the project.
