Ghislaine N. H. Sathoud was born on April 8, 1969 in Pointe Noire (Congo-Brazzaville). Her mother is a nurse . Her father, Victor Sathoud, worked in the timber industry and was successively a Minister, a Deputy and the Prefect of the town of Dolisie in the Niari Region. Ghislaine Sathoud holds a Master in International Relation from a French University. She is a mother of three and leaves in Quebec with husband Nestor Mandziya. (2000) A keen reader since childhood, she joined la "Troupe du Marigot" de Pointe-Noire during her teens and has published three booklets of verse since.
