Swim bladder - English

The swimbladder is located in the middorsal region of the visceral mass and connects to the mantle cavity via a muscular duct on the right side. The sac is located at the center of mass just above the center of gravity, a position that allows for stability and manoeverability.

OCYTHOIDAE - OCY - French

Dimorphisme sexuel marqué, les femelles étant 5 à 10 fois plus grandes que les mâles. Bras II et III nettement plus courts que I et IV; absence de membrane interbrachiale. Pores aquifères uniquement du côté ventral. Les oeufs se développent dans l'oviducte très long (seul céphalopode ovovivipare).
