This fish is really camoflouged in this picture! The Chinese Algae Eater is kept mainly for their ability to keep the aquarium free of algae. Apparently they won't work in the cold, because if the temperature drops below 69 degrees they will stop eating algae.

Gyrinocheilus aymonieri - French

Comportement: Poisson très territorial. Les juvéniles peuvent cohabiter avec d'autres poissons mais les adultes molestent souvent les autres cohabitants. Il devient mature quand il atteint environ 12 centimètres. Le Gyrino est excellent mangeur d'algues, il nettoye les vitres et le décor de l'aquarium de façon surprenante.
