This is a real popular fish. It is called a "shark" probably because of its' appearance because its not really a shark at all. It is a lively fish that may jump so keep the aqurium covered. They look imposing especially since they can get rather large but they not aggressive and make a good community fish. They can even be kept with smaller fish.

Comportement: Malgré son aspect "squale", le Balantiocheilus est un poisson très pacifique qui ne présente aucun danger pour les autres occupants de l'aquarium. Perpétuellement en mouvement, la quiétude du bac peut toutefois être troublée par la nage rapide de ce beau poisson vif et toujours actif.
