Striped Puffer, Arothron manilensis
- English
URL: http://www.exotictropicals.com/encyclo/marine/puffers/stripedpuff.htm
This guy looks like he needs a good meal! If they are not eating, check water conditions and give them a small goldfish or guppy. A
bent paperclip attached to the end of a 1/4 inch stiff plastic tubing can be used to spear guppies and present them to the fish. This also
works real well for other slow meat-eaters like anglers. [ eng ] |

Blue-spotted pufferfish, Arothron caeruleopunctatus
- English
URL: http://www.divegallery.com/puffer_bluespot.htm
This pufferfish species, commonly known as a Blue-spotted puffer, is more scarce than other members of its genus. The blue spots covering the body, and
fins with concentric circles around the eyes distinguish it from other, similar puffers. Though this species is known to grow to nearly 80 cm (2 feet 7 1/2
inches), it is a shy creature, frequently hiding or resting under table corals or overhangs. [ eng ] |
