Our specimen was obtained from an animal dealer in Texas. These animals live in the south and west of the United States as far as Oregon and live throughout most of Mexico. They are the most solitary and carnivorous of the procyonids, living primarily in dry habitats, preying on lizards and small mammals up to the size of rabbits. [ eng ] |
