URL: http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/Vines/5197/dipluridae.html

This family is represented in the warm areas of both hemispheres, reaching the south of the Iberian Peninsula. Like the Theraphosidae, they build their nest under stones, not buried. They have three tarsal claws, no rastellum and well developed spinners, exceeding sometimes the abdomen's length. They are the largest spiders living in the Iberian Peninsula, with one single species: Macrothele calpetana (40 to 60 mm.).
