Peronosporaceae - English

Members of this family are obligate parasites of plants and cause downy mildews. The deciduous sporangiophores exhibit determinate growth with the sporangia being round, oval or lemon-shaped and wind disseminated. In most genera, the sporangia germinate into zoospores.
