URL: http://www.nsrl.ttu.edu/tmot1/orciorca.htm

The killer whale seems to prefer coastal waters and often enters shallow bays, estuaries, and the mouths of rivers. Some populations appear to reside permanently in relatively small areas, but others migrate, probably in association with food supplies.
