Infineon Technologies stellte jetzt mit M-GOLD den weltweit ersten Chip für eine Dualmode-UMTS/GSM-Basisband-Lösung vor. Die ersten Muster werden bereits hergestellt. Der neue Chip ist ein Kernelement für die Entwicklung von hochintegrierten und mit umfangreichen Funktionen ausgestatteten Handys der dritten Mobilfunkgeneration.
