Molecular phylogeny of lemurs based on DNA sequences - English
URL: http://www.research-projects.unizh.ch/math/unit70200/area63/p213.htm

Reconstruction of phylogenetic relationships among Eulemur species or E. fulvus subspecies remain contentious. It is still unclear if there is a genetic difference between the Malagasy and Comorian populations of E. mongoz and E. fulvus. The phylogenetic position of Varecia within the Lemuridae remains uncertain, as does the species and/or subspecies status of V.v. variegata and V.v. rubra.
