InterNevod: Щуковые (Esocidae)
[rus]
Nonindigenous Fishes - Esocidae
The family Esocidae includes one genus and five species (Nelson 1994). They are distributed holarctically in northern and eastern North America, Europe, and northern Asia (Berra 1981). A single genus, Esox, and four species are native to the United States (Page and Burr 1991). Esocids are large fish, cylindrical in shape, have a duckbill-like snout, and (with the exception of E. americanus) are large fish. [eng]
