Parrotfish, Members of the Marine Fish Family Scaridae
Parrotfish belong to the Scaridae family. The majority of these fish
are classified in the genera Scarus, Cetoscarus and Sparisoma.
Most Parrotfish grow to well over 12 inches in length in captivity,
and the largest member of this family reaches an adult size of over
60 inches in length in the wild. Parrotfish are closely related to
Wrasse, and can be easily recognized by their distinctive beak-like
teeth. [eng]

Parrotfishes
This group would seem to have everything going for it as far as desirability to marine aquarists; many are spectacularly colorful, they
have almost comical fusiform-torpedo body shapes, and are numerous and easy to catch (at night) as they lay sleeping with or
without their fish-made mucus cocoons. [eng]
