Amorphochilus
Amorphochilus seems to occur mainly in cultivated valleys and arid regions within its range. It has been collected in an unused sugar mill, dark wine storehouses, and an irrigation tunnel; two individuals have been taken on separate occasions at 0300 hours. Ibáñez (1985) reported the discovery of a colony in a culvert at a road crossing within an area of tropical desert bush at the mouth of the Javita River, Ecuador. [eng] |
