Molossops: Broad-faced Bats
There are two subgenera and five species (Alberico 1987; Cabrera 1957; Goodwin and Greenhall 1961; Hall 1981; Handley 1976; Ibáñez and Ochoa G. 1985. In Venezuela, Handley (1976) found most specimens of M. planirostris roosting in rotting snags in swamps. M. temminckii also has been found sheltering in decaying logs. [eng] |
