Promops: Domed-palate Mastiff Bats The members of this genus do not seem to be as gregarious as some of the other molossid bats. Colonies of approximately half a dozen individuals have been found roosting in hollow trees and on the underside of palm leaves. A colony of six P. centralis, all females, found on the underside of a palm leaf in Trinidad, contained two lactating individuals; the collection date was in April. [eng]
