ZZ Reef
Merivesiakvaarioharrastukseni alkoi 80-luvun alkupuolella, jolloin akvaario varustettiin
pohjasuodattimilla. Pääasiassa keskityttiin kaloihin, ei ollut elävää kiveä, koralleja jne.
Selkärangattomia eläiminä oli vain erakkorapuja ja merivuokkoja. Silloin oli kohtuullisen vaikeaa saada
vesiarvot pysymään paikoillaan. Vasta reilu kymmenen vuotta sitten, kun yleisesti siirryttiin Berliini
menetelmään (elävä kivi + valkuaisainevaahdottaja) saatiin akvaario pysymään stabiilina. Tällä hetkellä
merivesi käytössä on kolme allasta, pääakvaario 720 litraa ja samassa vesikierrossa on lisäksi kaksi
120 litraista akvaariota simpulle ja merihevosille. [fin]
