The single known genus and species, Lipotes vexillifer, has been recorded from the mouth of the Chang Jiang (Yangtze) to a point about 1,900 km up that river, from Dongting and Poyang lakes, and from the Quiantang River just south of the mouth of the Chang Jiang. [eng]
