White-necked Rockfowl Picathartes gymnocephalus
The white-necked picarthartes or rockfowl is an unusual ground-hunting bird with a long tail, strong bill and a patch of bare yellow skin with a long tail, strong
bill and a patch of bare yellow skin on its head. About 15.7 inches long, the rockfowl has a brownish gray body, with a white neck and underside. Its food
consists of snails, beetles, cockroaches, grasshoppers, earwigs, and other insects taken from the ground; the species is known to join mixed bird parties
following ant trails. [eng]

The gray-necked rockfowl or gray-necked picathartes is a ground-hunting bird with brownish gray plumage, a gray neck, and a bare head. Its food consists of
a variety of insects, tiny snails, and small vertebrates. Pairs of small groups of these rockfowl forage on the forest floor at dawn and in the afternoons, roosting
in caves during inactive periods. [eng]
