Adults get uniformly black while the juveniles have a bright yellow top and royal blue pectoral fins. Will grow to a maximum size of 15 cm. In nature thay are solitary fish, living in places where coral growth is maximal. A very hard fish will tolerate the "tank cycling" procedure very easily. Will accept any food. [eng] |

This fish will readily eat all kinds of live, frozen, and flake foods and algae. Finely chopped meaty foods (like brine shrimp) can be fed regularly. It is best to feed small amounts several times a day. In a reef situation they don't really need to be fed very often at all. [eng] |
