Molecular phylogeny of lemurs based on DNA sequences
Reconstruction of phylogenetic relationships among Eulemur species or E. fulvus subspecies remain contentious. It is still unclear if there is a genetic difference between the Malagasy and Comorian populations of E. mongoz and E. fulvus.
