Barsch Perca fluviatilis L.
[deu]

Yellow Perch Webpage
The yellow perch is an important food fish and ecological fish species in the midwest. In the past 10 years a significant decrease in the natural population has
occured and this has lead states to put restrictions on commercial fishing. Consequently, this has increased the market demand for perch fillets. A perch aquaculture
industry has developed, but their growth rate is slow in comparison to other aquaculture species. [eng]
