Feeding this hunter is another issue. Live fish will be appreciated a lot, but apart from the accident on the pics below, this predator doesn't get feeder fish. 3 to 4 shrimps will find it's way to the large mouth every day. [eng] |

Natuurlijk kan deze groot wordende cichlide niet in een klein aquarium gehouden worden. Als vuistregel kan je best 10 cm. aquariumlengte per cm. volwassen vis nemen om deze mooi te laten uitkomen. Als de lijn doorgetrokken wordt naar deze 30 cm wordende vis is een 3 meter aquarium met een mooie diepte aangewezen. [nld] |
