The Fauna of Helminthes of Charadriiformes in Alaska (Except Alcidae): Their Zoogeographical Peculiarities and Origins
In 1999, S. K. Bondarenko and V. L. Kontrimavichus published an article under the same title in the Russian Zoological Journal. The study material was obtained by the authors from 40 species of Charadriiformes from Alaska in 1976 and from 49 birds presented them by Professor P. Rausch. On the whole, 74 helminth species were found. 61 species of them were found for the first time in North America and 4 species were characterized as new for science. [eng]
